Pavitt’s Pies of Cambridge are back………………with Revenge !

November 4th, 2011 — 6:17pm

They’re back and just as packed with wonderful fresh ingredients – they have to be tasted. Flavours include:

Beef and ale
Cheese and onion (v)
Chicken and mushroom
Mushroom, onion and thyme (v)
Pork and chorizo
Pavitt’s Piemosas (v)

So full you could share?? Personally I think it’s best to give in to the experience and indulge. ………. Also in this week – see’s the return of smoked and white garlic from the Isle of Wight, the ‘Vampire’ range of hot and daring chutneys – are you brave enough……… Vampire’s Revenge, Relish, and Delight…… Great for Christmas presents for the ‘man (woman) who has everything’ but likes it hot! Coming for Christmas – ‘Dragon’s Blood’ just a few drops and you’ll know what’s hit you.

Thanks Giving Turkeys …………. Freerange

November 2nd, 2011 — 8:59am

This weekend I am taking orders for our free range Thanks Giving Turkeys. They will be delivered at the beginning of the week giving you lots of time to prepare it for the Thursday.

The sizes tend to start at around 5 kilos as a minimum weight – it’s hard to control the weight of them! but the farmers estimate around 5 kilos by then.

From a local farm via The Radmore Farm shop on Chesterton Road – where I currently get all my red meat, sausages, chicken etc. and am very happy with the quality.

Do either pop into the shop or email me to put in your order – I am asking for a 50% deposit – the price works out at £9.75 per kilo.

Thanks – do ask for any special vegetable, sauces, pickle orders you may want to put in to accompany this order, Polly
