Hampers of Fun !

December 10th, 2010 — 12:36pm

It’s that time of year again when you struggle to find something original to buy the ‘man that has everything’ , the Mother that you can never ‘get it right’ for , Dad’s ! well say no more ……………… so why not give them some treats – a nice jar of home made jam, pickle, locally made chocolate bars & buttons or a packet of pure hot chocolate to warm up those winter nights. Try a packet of luxury ‘tea pigs’ for tea that you can really taste. Treat them to a selection of local cheeses from ‘The Wobbly Bottom Farm’ or a Stilton from the Cromwell Bishop Creamery – slightly further afield from the Isle of Wight comes the Vampire Range, everything to do with garlic ! Vampire’s Relish in their words’ Bloody Good’ spicy Tomato and Garlic Relish – or Vampire’s Delight, ‘very acceptable to Vampires’, Garlic and Apple Chutney – yummmmm or add in a bulb of smoked garlic, voted the ‘best garlic in England’ by Country Files ! it’s got to be tried.  Other treats include hand made sweets – honey and nut slice &  fruit cheeses, artisan bread, 100% organic apple juice. Other specialties include a range of gluten free foods – mince pies, biscuits and a range of ready meals.

So do come in and be as creative as you feel – we will wrap and present your hamper in a lovely basket for that special touch.

Look out for late opening times running up to Christmas
